Marketing/Circulation Manager
National Consumer & Business Publications

Responsibilities:

The Marketing/Circulation Manager develops and implements the overall strategy for maintaining and increasing the circulation of our publications, books, and shows and is responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing cost-effective strategies for retaining existing subscribers, including pricing strategies and renewal efforts by mail, e-mail, and/or phone;
  • Developing and implementing cost-effective strategies for acquiring new subscribers, including direct mail, gift subscriptions, web-based offers, advertising, and partner programs.
  • Maximizing sales and visibility on newsstands, working with distributors;
  • Maximizing revenue through sales of back issues, books, list rentals, etc.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • An enthusiastic, positive attitude.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in circulation and marketing.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analysis skills, with working knowledge of MS Excel and other analysis tools.
  • The ability to be a flexible team player with consensus-building skills.
